Getting Started

Welcome to Lootero! Whether you collect coins, watches, wine, trading cards, comics, antiques, or anything else under the sun, Lootero is the all-in-one app that finally lets you catalogue your real-world treasures, track what they’re worth, and connect with fellow collectors.

This 10-part series will turn you from complete beginner to Lootero power user in under an hour. Let’s begin.

Step 1: Download the App (or use the web version)

You have three ways to run Lootero:

Install the app or open the web link, then come right back here.

Step 2: Create Your Free Account

  1. Open Lootero → tap New Here? (big blue button on the login screen)
  2. Fill in three simple fields:
    • Username (this is what you log in with)
    • Valid email address
    • Password
  3. Tick the box to accept the Terms & Privacy Policy → the Sign Up button turns blue and becomes active.
  4. Tap Sign Up.

You’re in! Lootero automatically logs you in and sends a welcome email. You must verify that email eventually for permanent access, but you can start using the app immediately.

Step 3: Your First Look – The Dashboard

Here’s what you’ll see the very first time you log in:

Top section (your mini-profile)

  • Default avatar (you’ll change this later)
  • Your username
  • 1 Collection / 0 Items (because we haven’t made anything yet)
  • $0 spent / $0 estimated value
  • Eye icon → tap this to hide all money values if you ever want to (great for showing your phone to someone in public)

Collector’s Feed preview — A scrolling feed of beautiful items other collectors have recently added and chosen to make public. This is your daily dose of inspiration!

Popular categories — Quick tiles showing what’s hot right now (Coins & Currency, Watches, Comics, etc.).

Your collection records (empty for now) — Once you start adding items this will show fun stats:

  • Most valuable theme/series
  • Most expensive single item
  • Oldest item and more.

Latest Updates (also empty at the start) — The last 10 items you touched, with Lootero’s AI price and monthly ↑↓ trend arrows.

Bottom Bar Navigation

From left to right:

  1. Home (Dashboard) – where you are now
  2. Feed – full-screen collector inspiration
  3. Collections – where all your collections live
  4. Items – where all your collection items live

That’s literally everything you need to know for the first five minutes.

You’re now officially a Lootero member with an empty but beautiful vault waiting to be filled.
